"packet" being a UUCP packet, right?

Maybe it thinks the address has not seen the message and so is sending it
again.  Can you try changing your address to
Ualanm{at}scorpio.rosebay.matra.com.au and see if that helps?  You're missing
the "rosebay" at the moment from memory. BFN.  Paul.
