Heh.

They are continually adding carrying capacity to backbones and such stuff...

But do you think that maybe it's even remotely possible that these
companies that are putting together all these web sites with big piles of
images might ever possibly get a clue?  Ever?

There _are_ lots of sites out there where I can get in,  get the site
loaded,  and get the info I'm looking for in a reasonable amount of time. 
Guess which ones I favor?  :-)
