How do I debug PM programs under Watcom?  The following doesn't work:

wcl386 -d2 -l=os2v2_pm fred.c
  
rc fred.rc

The resultant executable appears to have no symbolic debug info,
leastway, wd won't show me the source code.

Secondly, does Watcom have a PM-based debugger?  Although I normally
prefer a full-screen one, a PM one may be useful when debugging PM
apps.

Thirdly, any ideas why I am getting the following error from nmake?

NMAKE : fatal error U1002: syntax error : invalid macro invocation '$'

It is highly likely to be a path problem, it's just it will take me
a while to isolate it, so I was hoping someone could give me a
