Do I correctly presume you meant it was UNusable?

Have you ever looked into macro writing? In the first place, it's a
matter of planning or knowing what's to be done then Ctrl-F10 (in
WP DOS 5.1) to start the process of recording and going through the
steps you want executed as a macro. You can then edit the result
with WP's own macro editor to fine-tune it. (There's no way anyone
can follow the macro's execution while it's running.)
I don't know if he updated it for later versions, but Dave Seidman
had a "suite" of macro utilities for 5.1 that'd convert macros to
and from WP document and ASCII formats for easy editing.
