Yes. I'm old enough to remember the Shepard case. I was born and raised on the
East Coast, and when the Shepard case was unfolding (sometime in the early
fifties...I was about 13 or so) it was big news. I always thought he was
innocent. Was surprised when he got convicted. Turned out he really was
innocent. Between the press and the legal system, they ruined his life.
