JF> What's the going rate for second hand Commodore 64's now?

At Computer Bazaar in Chatswood, Sydney, you can get C64's for $55
including power supply + datasette. 1541-II's cost about $70, and 1571's
about $90. C128's were about $100. I found them to be cheaper than I could
get from private sale (mind you, you could bargain the private seller down
if you presented them with that information). I did get one ripper deal
from AUST_TRADING. I got a C128, 1571, 1541, monitor, modem, printer for
$270 including delivery. All in all, I bought 3 C64's to give away to
friends (including my grandmother!), plus disk drives for 2 of them (not my
grandmother!). I got quite lost, but the end result is that I have a C128
hooked up to a 1571 and 3 1541's, plus a C128 and C64 sitting in the
cupboard. My old C64 was bust (the one sitting in the cupboard), and it
cost me $100 to get it repaired. That's why I decided to stock up on C64's.
