Hi Udo--

    OS20MEMU is closely tied to the kernel through undocumented
interfaces, and almost any change in the kernel may affect it.  I
realize that this is not a very helpful answer.  I would suggest sending
your query to the DevCon people via internet (devcon{at}vnet.ibm.com).  I
have found them very helpful in chasing down internal IBM developers.
