 True. In the case of CPU's it means more thet they are Working Side by
Side rather then parallel connected to the Same control Lines. They are
fully independant and software controlled. In fact last I heard IBM was
producing a dye with 4 CPU's on the same chip. 
And the latest and fastest super computers use Hundreds of Parallel
CPU's
