Hi All,

                              The Flood
                              ---------

A flood was coming. As the water began to rise, a fellow climbed on to his
rooftop. A car came by and the driver said, "Hop in and I'll take you to
safety." Fellow refused and replied, "God will save me."

The water rose more. A motor boat zoomed up. "Hop in. I'll take you to
safety." Fellow replied, "S'okay, God will save me."

The water was up past the eaves. A rescue helicopter came by and hovered.
Pilot said, "Get in. I'll take you to safety." Fellow answered,
"God will
save me." The water rose higher and the fellow drowned.

He got to the Pearly Gates and there was God. He said, "God, I prayed to
you all my life; went to worship every week; lived a good life. How could
you let me drown like that? Why didn't you help me?"

God replied, "Look. I sent you a car, a boat and a helicopter. What more
did you want?"
