 There used to be a company called LWE that used "sensors" to do exactly that 
sort of thing. Their speakers had a return path for the feedback loop of t
power amp which had to be modified to do so..
 Sounds like what your Kenwood Amp is setup to use. Whether or not it may be 
useful to you or not I can't say for certain. I do remember that those little 
LWE speakers sounded incredible thoug  thinking at first that they were the 
larger set of conventional speakers they were sitting on! I would assume that 
this feature would only be useful if the speakers provide the feedback 
information needed for your amp alas.. What does the manual say about this?
