The problem must be specific for the _ZyXEL Elite_ in conjunction with your 
specific telco switch. I'm still running 1.08 (because fax reception is 
_broken_ in 1.09/1.10) and have never had that problem. My telco switch is an 
old analog one (as you may have guessed from the nodelist :-)).
