Once upon a time Andrew said something very interesting about 3Com with
BIOS...
Hi to everybody who replied,

KP> I bought a second hand 3Com 509Combo NIC. When I look at the card,

 KP> Bootware 13C5X9-NW
 KP> Lanworks Technologies
 KP> 1993 V1.02 #639452

KP> What is it for? Can I boot from this card? Is it only for Netware
 KP> (cf.13C5X9-*NW*) or also for OS/2?
KP> I somebody could give me some info (or point me towards it) ...

So, if my understanding is correct, this feature adds no extra functionality
to a system running OS/2, W95, WNT, etc.
Maybe it would be possible to boot DOS from an OS/2 system, emulating
tWare?
Tranks for responding,
Ken
