The rest of this message is NB>the Wizard speaking... :) Nancy and RJ, I have been reading and saving your messages with Richard because I have been piddleing around with kinda the same idea. My XP box is connected through a Router to a DSL Modem. A friend gave me a ISA NIC that runs at 10 Mc/s that I put in my 486 DOS/Win 3.1 box. He didn't have a driver for it. I have tried using Arachne to get the 486 box to talk to the Router but didn't have any luck. I will have to open the box up to see what brand the NIC is so I can take RJs suggestion to look for a driver on the cards website. Thanks for the help. * SLMR 2.1a #T348 * The more I know, the more I seem to forget! ;-( --- Platinum Xpress/Win/WINServer v3.0pr5* Origin: Doc's Place BBS Fido Since 1991 docsplace.tzo.com (1:123/140) SEEN-BY: 10/1 3 14/300 34/999 90/1 106/1 120/228 123/500 134/10 140/1 222/2 SEEN-BY: 226/0 249/303 261/20 38 100 1381 1404 1406 1418 266/1413 280/1027 SEEN-BY: 320/119 393/68 633/104 260 262 267 712/848 800/432 801/161 189 SEEN-BY: 2222/700 2320/100 105 200 2905/0 @PATH: 123/140 500 261/38 633/260 267 |
