Tommy Bolin wrote and played very heavy to understand/play stuff. If you 
listen to some of the tunes they might just change key a zillion times. If 
ou
read (and yes I said READ) his lyrics they are very deep. Listen to the Deep 
Purple Come Taste the Band songs...most of which were written by Bolin.
