 Bullshit. Efficiency goes down as frequency goes up. It's just the
convenience (and cost) of being able to use a smaller coil at higher
frequencies.

 How about using his boom-box audio system? Just slip in a rap CD,
wind the volume right up, and rectify the output to run the VCR!
That'd work...

 If David's into sadism, he could use a John Denver CD. Rocky
Mountain High at 50 watts ought to do the job okay.
