PE> Acuma, 02-9906-3485 are selling 70ns 16 meg simms for $190. Yeah, still dropping, $180 now. RS> They've also hiked the price of that Quantum 2.5GB drive by $50 apparently. PE> I paid $495 for my first one, $445 for the second. Is it back to $495? RS> Yeah, sorry, a bit careless there, I meant RS> the best price, the second, had hiked. Now $487, not that cheap at all. Atleast one crowd at $400, and another at $440, all for the same drive. Everyone pretty vague about the warranty is, whether its 3yr or 1. PE> Did you call them yourself? Did this time. PE> Aickle are selling 60ns 16 meg simms for $200. Yeah, thats not unusual. RS> You havent been checking the EDOs by the sound of it. PE> I did. Acuma is selling 70ns EDO for $265 from memory. PE> It was a ludicrous figure, whatever it was. I noticed one crowd with only a $10 surcharge for EDO. Hex speed CDROMS for $99 are findable too, Mitsumi FX600s. I prefer those over the Panasonics which have always had some question marks over their rotation motors. Thats not much more than a floppy drive now. Took FUCKING long time getting there, but CDROMs have really got up one hell of a head of steam now. @EOT: ---* Origin: afswlw rjfilepwq (3:711/934.2) SEEN-BY: 711/934 @PATH: 711/934 |
