WL> He may embody traits of several Roman emperors, as well as
WL> other less-than-savory historical figures.
WL> In all fairness, Clinton has some good qualities.
Let's try "some specific skills and expertise" rather than
"some good qualities".
WL> He can mesmerize some audiences,
So did Herr Schickelgruber.
WL> now that he's learned to hold his speeches down to an hour
WL> or less.
Gee, they'll boot him off the Central Committee.
WL> He's well-groomed in public.
That only takes adequate handlers.
WL> I believe he really loved his mama.
Probably too much so.
WL> He had some part (although cetainly much less than he'd
WL> like people to think) to do with peace talks in both the
WL> Middle East and Northern Ireland.
I'd dispute that point, Walt. His only involvement in the
initial MidEast settlement was to provide a site for the
signing ceremony. The actual negotiations were held in
secret in Norway, as I recall, with no US representation.
As far as his contribution to the settlement in Ireland,
he came close to aborting the whole process by legitimizing
Sein Fein, and much as I hate to say it, George Mitchell
deserves most of the credit.
WL> He's boosted employment by employing lots of of
WL> spin-doctors, private investigators and lawyers.
A little tongue-in-cheek here, hmmm?
WL> And his very existence improves the relative stature of
WL> every President before him, and perhaps some
WL> Congresscritters as well.
Why do you think I refer to him as the Interim President?
... Clinton wants to tax my *what*?
