Yeah, that sounds like what was going on here.. My problem was that BBBS
doesn't seem to release the telnet nodes after getting hammered so much...
So your bbbs log gets filled with "No more free nodes!" with each attempt to
connect. You have to reset the bbbs telnet daemon when that happens, but under
Linux it doesn't crash to the OS as is happening to Robert...

Oh yeah, that is so true :)
Well, the good news is, since I switched to a non-stanard telnet port, all is
quiet and good
