Hi David,
-=> Quoting David Noon to Jocelyn Doire <=-
DN> The memory allocation is in the lap of the DOS session rather than
DN> OS/2. That said, here is a quick and dirty checklist you can go
DN> through to try to maximise conventional memory in a VDM.
 DN> 1. DOS_HIGH is set to ON
 DN> 2. DOS_UMB is set to ON
 DN> 3. EMS_MEMORY_LIMIT is set to zero
 DN> 4. All drivers in DOS_DEVICE have SIZE=0 prepended
DN> 5. All TSR's in the AUTOEXEC.BAT are loaded using LOADHIGH or LH
 DN> 6. VIDEO_MODE_RESTRICTION is set to CGA
DN> 7. DOS_RMSIZE is set to 640, unless you have the XBDA problem
DN> Ignoring any one of these can cause DOS to put things lower than
 DN> wished for.
Question: #4...how do I do this and can you explain it a bit. I don't
understand.
In another note someone said to set the RM size to 639...can't do that. It's
either 636 or 640. I set it back to 640.
Thanks
Andrea
