and a sdrc ideas level 6 user: they are in a complete different league!
acad= pc low entry, our ideas software runs on a couple of SGI machines, and
are a breeze to use! ( you pick it up quite quick ( in a VERY expensive
workshop week ;-))
to use a cad program to construct and design consumer product, ideas does the
job very well (although at very high costs!), (3d modeling, 2-d associative
drawings, rendering, FEM).
our acad system is only used for very basic construction design (tools).
and OHH! what a DOG to use!
