I am a Robert A. Heinlein fan and choose that name to commemorate the author
(and it's easy for me to type)... ;-)))

Ahhhh. I see I neglected to specify that the command separator on my system
is the tilde (~) character. Sorry for any misunderstanding and yes, you are
correct -- command separators within Autoexec will function when 4DOS is
loaded via Config.sys, first and that the command separators are only within
4DOS specific sections of a (multi config) Autoexec.
COMMAND.COM doesn't like the command separator character ... ???
G'Day ... Gerald
