subject: AREA?

Hi, Paul.

How do you think should be handled the case of an AREA: line, which is
in the write place but contains no data? ie, the line is
   "AREA:CR"?

I think you could

1) ignore the area line (so the message would be treated as netmail);
2) send it to an area called, say, "Unknown";
3) bin that message because it's obviously grunged.

I favour 2) but I'd be interested in your views.

Note that I've never seen this, but in programming it you need to do
*something*.

Regards, fIM.
