=>1 use a move tool to move the files and
=>subdiirectories one at a time to a
=> new location and then move them back, the LFNs will "fall off".
Another tool you could use is WIN95CMD.EXE and just move the
files from long filename to short filename.
Untested, but something like
{at}echo off
for %%a in (*.*) do move "%%a" %%~sa
Use Xall to recurse the entire drive...
My worry would be - what will happen to files that share a common short
filename?
