PS> The water cooling systems for CPUs that I've read reports PS> about all used distilled waters. The authors of said PS> reports had the same reservations as you at the start, then PS> they found out. ;) Water cooling CPU's is not new. A long time ago I heard about a data center that experienced a major power failure. When power came up a couple hours later, they weren't anxious to allow the AC to properly cool the room before they powered-up their chilled water cooled CPU. When the humid room air contacted the CPU parts it "rained" inside their CPU! The same effect is not unknown around Peltier coolers. ... Never draw fire. It irritates everyone around you. ___ MultiMail/MS-DOS v0.35 ---* Origin: The Bare Bones BBS (1:105/360) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 105/360 106/2000 633/267 |
