I just received your message and had to respond.  As you well know I have 
thought of you as a very special person for a long while now.  You keep 
amazing me with your outlooks and your stamina.  I wish you the very best 
with your illness and will keep you in my prayers.  If anyone can overcome 
you certainly can.
I sent Shauna a block but did not realize the mailing time frame but she 
should receive it this week.  My husband, poor man, told me that after my 
deposition on June 11th, regarding my injury, he is going to take me fabric 
shopping.  He, foolish man, said I could get up to 30 yards of fabric.  Boy 
will he be surprised when I get all 30 and still tell him I need more.  But 
at least with that kind of a stash I will be able to take part in the 
exchange every month unless I don't have a pattern or the right fabric :)
I have a pattern from an older quilting magazine that I was fortunate to get 
a copy of and plan on making.  It's all octagons.  The center is a huge 
basket of flowers and then it has a pattern of flowers that triangle the 
center, then all 4 corners have a flower spray in them.  It finishes off with 
a border of a different color but still all octagons.  The edge is funny but 
neat.  I only have to cut about 3,000 octagons so it should keep me occupied.
