I have a USR courier and despite dubious beginings, it now works fine.. I
use it over a variety of conditions and my bbs gets all types of modems
aprox 30 times a day, no probs, esp since the last Flash ROM was issued...

What bugs are you aware of? The Vfc retraining is now fixed, as is V34
support with other brands.. I have got very good rates to USA & Holland
with no drops.. Before with Netcomms and other brands i wont mention in
fear of a flame attack, I couldn't seriously call OS for files/mail..

You'll find that every Modem echo on Fido and Internet is full of
complaints from buyers whether it's supras, zooms, usr's, netcomms,
dynalink, hayes etc.. So either those complaining are twits who'd moan of a
flat tyre as being "a factory fault" or their modems are
seriously badly made.. Either way, the USR's work well and are a good
choice for heavy duty use...
