HB> And the Quatech drivers don't have the equivalent of VMODEM.
KS> They do have:
KS> Device=D:\Techniek\Quatech\qvcom.Sys (1,3F8,4) (2,2F8,3)
This is not the same, VModem is a virtual modem, that is used to connect to a
BBS (or whatever) via Internet.
You are talking about Virtual-Comm driver for the DOS box, big differance.
BTW I have tested the Qcom drivers and they are not stable, SIO160d and the
latest Com.sys from IBM are.
My guess is that you are trying to connect too high true the telephone lines
so that you modem is loosing connects.
A normal stable connect is arround 44000 with a V90 connection, any higher
rates will result in data/carrier losses.
