Must say I don't unserstand. What do you mean?

What I am saying is: the Quatech drivers are free. So the costs of a Quatech
card or board don't even come into the picture.
And in comparision to the Sio: for Sio  you have to do a hell of a business
(and to pay), in order to have additional ports installed. With the Quatech
you have the 32 ports from minute one. The only "snag" is you have to alter
the config.sys yourself. I do agree  this "obstacle" is insurmountable for the 
pnp & M$ fellows.
