-> MG> As mellow as Earl is it's a wonder that anyone ever gets -> vacations from MG> here. :) Although when someone does get one they -> are surely deserving it. -> He booted Klahn for... well being Klahn. "Being Klahn" encompasses a number of faults. Most of those faults weren't against the rules. The fault of hypocrisy was. For years he has been insisting that he doesn't want to ever flame anyone. He only flames when he is forced to, he said. That demonstrated his faults of not telling the truth, and of not taking responsibility for his own actions. Last fall, though, he went on a binge of criticizing people for flames. At the SAME TIME he went on a binge of flaming. Ross C. pointed out his hypocrisy, but he didn't grasp the point Ross made. So I created the rule that moderators have to follow THEIR OWN RULES as well as mine when in this echo. Ross followed the rule. Roger followed the rule, possibly without knowing about it, just because he is a nice guy. I was going to leave it in place for a few months to see if Klahn could bring himself to follow his own rules. But I didn't fully appreciate how unstable Klahn really is. He gave Sauer two weeks for saying "lie," even though he violated that same rule here repeatedly. When he got the same two weeks, he became totally unhinged. He banned me from his echo, he violated his own suspension three times, he went ranting to sysops in an effort to get them to drop the echo, and he made one of the most pathetically stupid threats of a lawsuit that I have ever heard. It is so sad to see an over-grown man cry. And he hasn't come to his senses yet. --- PCBoard (R) v15.3/M 10* Origin: (1:226/600) SEEN-BY: 10/1 3 34/999 120/228 123/500 128/2 140/1 226/0 236/150 249/303 SEEN-BY: 250/306 261/20 38 100 1381 1404 1406 1418 266/1413 280/1027 320/119 SEEN-BY: 396/45 633/260 267 712/848 801/161 189 2222/700 2320/100 105 2905/0 @PATH: 226/600 123/500 261/38 633/260 267 |
