 TW> Think about it. The scanner in the Copier puts Black toner in the
 TW> places that DO NOT reflect Light(the black print on the paper being
 TW> copied) on it's copy. With the lid open and nothing on the glass
 TW> nothing in reflected back to the pickup sensor. 
 TW> In theory you get a full black page. :-)

 Fine theory and it stands the test of fire here.  I have not seen a
 copier in ages. I use my fax machine, not too good but does the work.
