subject: 25-10-10 fertilizer

I learned in gardening class a few weeks back about the N-P-K
classification system for fertilisers. The three numbers
represent proportions of Nitrogen, Phosphorous and Potassium.
A 20-20-20 mixture is general purpose, a 40-20-20 would promote
green foliage, etc.
Here is a jar of Orchid fertilizer, rated 25-20-20. The ratio
seems to suggest green foliage growth, and I purchased it
specifically for my houseplants, which are all green-foliage
plants.
Why would they label it specifically "orchid fertilizer" instead
of "green growth"?
Thanks for any hints, suggestions or tips.
