No problem, Gene.  *I'm* sorry if my rambling left you with the impression
that I wanted to comment on anything but the need for Quatech hardware in
order to use the Quatech drivers!

Oh, how true that is! :^)  Sometimes, they aren't even close. It'd sure be
nice if there was something like NetMedic for OS/2. I asked, with the somewhat 
expected silence from the askee.
