Hello All,

I've asked Lord Time to circulate this around to other message nets. I 
appreciate his assistance. 

I know people have been banging down my proverbial door about FTN Feeds back 
into Xpresit Net. My apologies that you've had to wait for so long. But it's 
available once again! :-)

Long story short: I switched to Linux and though it's been a wonderful 
experience, I am sick of using Internet Rex -- an unsupported software the 
author still charges for -- so I'd LIKE to use D'Bridge but I'm still having 
trouble getting it to play nice with DOSemu.

Nick Andre, the D'Bridge Author has generously become my primary FTN Hub as 
well as the Guardian of the Nodelist. :-) So he is the gate keeper who giveth 
j00 your node number and your FTN feed. 

I'm sure most of you know this already but to remain "on topic"
for any "ads 
areas" this is posted to -- this needs to be more of an ad than an update so 
here goes :-)

Xpresit Net is a Free Speech Echomail Network that's been around since 1994! 
We're going by the definition of free speech as set down by the forefathers of 
the United States of America which in short states that harassment impairs 
freedom of speech and that in and of itself, is not freedom of speech but 
rather prevents it. So -- no flame wars -- but we won't jump on you for use of 
language nor for any opinions about anything you might have. Speak your mind.

In a nutshell, we've got:

- A bunch of different topics for your average Jane or Joe
- Syncdev Third Party Development forums for Sysops / Geeks :-)
- L10 is our official IBBS League for those of you who enjoy slaying monsters 
(or each other :-) in RPGs.
- The ENTIRE friggen Usenet Backbone! (via Nick Andre, directly)

If you wanna hook up, here's what you do:

QWK: malkaviabbs.com
     time.synchro.net

Telnet in, create a QWK Account, plug and play! :-) Ask Lord Time for the 
subs.txt import file and conference number info.

FTN: 

First, goto http://nickandre.com (or talk to him on Fidonet) and email him 
asking for a node number (or you can just email time.warrior{at}malkaviabbs.com 
and I'll forward the email) as well as the setup files (xpresit.na, nodelist, 
etc...)

Once done, you can get your feed from either Nick or Lord Time. Whatever your 
pleasure. Just let us know which you'd prefer.

We will have a more formalized infopack including ansi login screens, etc.. as 
soon as humanly possible. We've been re-doing a bunch of things trying to make 
this easier and more painless of a process. 

Nick is also working on FTN Plug & Play Technology. Still in development, 
though. Once done, Xpresit will be the guinea pig used in this cruel 
experiment :-)
