Hi Bo! :-)

 BS> Okay, bigger cities?
I read about it being an experiment somewhere. Yeah, it was some bigger
city, but I just don't remember where that was.

BS> BTW just for interesting, where do you live in Germany?
Bremerhaven, 60 km north of Bremen.

BS> OH That's not so mutch! I did pay 500 DKR just for the subscribtion
BS> of flatrate ISDN then I did have that, and it was only allowed to use
 BS> one B channel.
Well, my provider is an exception. Back when all providers had ISDN
flatrate offerings, you had to pay per-minute costs for the second channel
at almost all providers.

Internet via ISDN is pretty much dead in Germany, everybody wants ADSL now.
I don't really need the extra bandwidth, it doesn't matter much to me
whether an ISO image download takes minutes or 20 hours.

PS>> They don't offer a real ADSL flatrate, but the 5G variant

 BS> Okay! That's kidna bad.
Well, you can choose between a lot of ADSL providers around here, it's not
coupled with what phone company you're customer of. They're all moving off
the flatrate model, however - pay by traffic seems to be the future. No
surprise since the ISPs have to pay for traffic, too.

Ciao
