Hi Ed,
EV> A couple of weeks ago I was talking about my Spelling and Grammer.
EV> I finally remembered to look to see if Apache Open Office had a
EV> Grammar Checker and found a extension add on I could download it to
EV> their Writer.
Fine, tell me if it slows down the text entry noticeably.
Also, I would be interested in how it handles the following spelling
errors:
wrong correct
- - - - - - - - - -
simular similar
powerfull powerful
seperate separate
independants independents
transiver transceiver
resiver receiver
Those are just a few of the ones I have memorized.
And how about todays sample:
All 556 lines of the file hadn't changed a BIT, ........
Should have been:
None of the 556 lines of the file had changed a BIT, ........
Irrespective of the grammar error, it's a miracle that the file was
still readable. The only reason for that may be that you read it on
a 360 kb floppy drive, not a combo 360kb/1.2Mb drive.
