Dan:
DC>> SM> up to that here in Toronto, we only got to 26 degrees - wait a
DC>>That's more like it!
What?... do you expect us to be cold up here?
DC>> SM> minute! That was 26 CELCIUS!!! That means we were sitting at 75
DC>>That's not... :(
Actually - the weather's been like that ever since I worte that
last week! Everyday we get a hot, humid day and every evening
we get an even more humid thunderstorm!
DC>>What can I say, I have my priorities right!
So it seems, and I salute you for it, Sir!
DC>>Sounds like the problem I had last Monday when the main sheet
DC>>got caught on a tack. Good thing I didn't have a beer, or
DC>>may have spilled it..
Ah, not to worry... most boats, left alone, will simply point up
into the wind anyway!
DC>> SM> instructions that show how to heave-to in this thing?"
DC>>Last time I tried that on my little boat, the mast ended up
DC>>looking at the bottom of the bay!
You should re-read those instructions!.. we do that on our boat
quite regulary; while waiting for someone else to catch up,
while just checking the chart, while stopping for lunch - all
sorts of reasons just to stop and smell the flowers (and if I'm
close enought to anything to smell the flowers, I'm REALLY in
trouble!)
DC>>What can I say, I'm crazy, but still willing to learn...
So long as you're crazy, it shows you're still alive; and if
you've got to be alive anyway, you might just as well learn
something to perpetuate that state!
