Yes that's it PMP.  Don't you find it odd that the only problems playing in
media player classic or zoom are for high resolution video? And not just one
but every single test I've done using hundreds of different video files and
formats and it's consistent, not one single hidef version will play in anything
but Windows Media player when running on Vista.

That sir is no coincidence. Each time the result is the same, sound and no
video and ONLY when the resolution is *over* 480p (clearly HD quality). It
seesm at 480p or lower everything plays just fine in all media players. Imagine
that..
