I saw *something* at some point in the not-too-distant past (few months?)
that said as to how you could convert these to some other format.  A few
that I've accumulated recently are absurdly large,  up to maybe half a meg
for _a data sheet_ for one chip!  If I can find that info I'll have a go at
doing that on some number of the files here.

The stuff on the bbs is even more of a problem,  as there are thigns
they're doing in recent files that the dos version of acrobat won't deal
with at all,  it just tries to load the file and gives up,  with an error
message.
