Right now, I'm using 1.09.  1.08 was less prone to have the problem, with 
1.09 my modem will hang once or twice a day unless I use *E1.  Even with 
that, it went 9 days and then hung.
I've been sending this information to ZyXEL in hopes that it helps them debug 
their code.
