Hello Greg, In a message dated 18 Nov 96 you wrote to me : GH> Why bother with that? Get a Multiface 3 card. Definitely cures the GH> worries associated with the Commodore serial port. I used to have a GVP I/O Extender - but one day smoke poured out of it and I haven't been able to fix it yet. However the standard serial port runs fine here at 57,600 (love that Warp Engine '040) so all it means is that I'm stuck with only one serial port, I only need one anyway. The problem with getting a Multiface 3 card is the price. A couple of serial ports isn't worth what they ask for in my books. I am currently looking for the Zorro II/III specs so that I can build an io card to be proud of - I want at least 8 serial ports on it! And it wont cost half the price of a MFCIII.
