I had previously advertised my '38 EL for a lot more, but another deal 
is about to fall thru..... Bike will be sold by the evening of Tuesday, 
7/23. Anyone who shows up around here by then with somewhere around $10k 
will have themselves a nice project! There is now fresh (black) paint on 
the frame, forks, oil tank, toolbox, etc. etc., etc.

1938 Harley-Davidson EL project bike 
 
Motor - ZERO miles on totally rebuilt (top & bottom) motor. 
Stock 61 cu. in. configuration. Balanced and blueprinted. 
Updated bearings and oiling. Built by one of the best 
Knuckehead specialists on the east coast. 
 
Uncut stock frame, all tabs. Original transmission, 
springer forks, fenders, oil tank, handlebars, tool box  
(rectangular), brakes, etc. etc. etc. Gas tanks off '41-46.  
 
The thing is about 90% all there. About the only major 
items missing are the distributor, headlight and exaust. 
Some minor geegaws needed (grips, cables, brackets, etc.).
