If I'm not mistaken, isn't Galactus an EXCELLENT example of that? Not to
mention Dr. Doom? Just think of the story possibilities they could have
had with a BENEVOLENT, all powerful being like Jean Grey's good Phoenix
if they just hadn't ruined her like they did.
Marvel's villain, non-villain and hero pantheon is FULL of "absolute
power corrupting" characters. MOST sci-fi based fiction is.....
