subject: TM.RES problem

JC}Hello.
JC}I am running Telemate 4.2 [UNREGISTERED]. Occasionally, while i am online
}and at the same time using the editor (one of the best features), if I try
}to load file while a file is loaded, I get a message:
  }PROBLEM OPENING FILE C:\COM\TELEMATE\TM.RES
JC}I can get around this by starting a new document in the editor and then
  }loading the file.
JC}After I get this message, when I attempt to exit from Telemate it gives me
}the message again and then exits.
JC}Ideas? Suggestions?
Ok one little thing, DOS? Ok try set tmres=c:\com\telemate\tm.res
                                 set tmcfg=c:\com\telemate\tm.cfg
These are in the AUTOEXEC.BAT, and they will make sure that all is
correct. Also set in your PATH= C:\COM\TELEMATE, this will allow you to
run TM.EXE from anywhere on the drive. There is one little thing. Try
setting Telemate in a TM DIR, and that will shorten the PATH statement
considerably. Seez ya' A TELEMATE user for LIFE (so far) as I have tried
about 20 other comm programs and seem to come back to Telemate
every time! DOS rules, and you can expect to see PC-DOS 8, and True 32bit
OS and a C:\ like any other DOS, so watch and see. Seez ya'
