    Hi Tom,
    This is the first time I have seen mention of this, so I 
assume that the reason you haven't gotten a response previous to 
this is that your messages didn't make it to the backbone.
    As to the problem, I don't know why this is happening to 
either of you.  I've tested the program on 2 different systems, 
with a 14.4 and 28.8 modems and haven't see this problem.  
    Assuming that both of you are putting in the proper settings in 
TMW's config, saving them to disk, and then making sure that the 
com port settings in Windows are also correct, then the only other 
thing I can think of is that you've changed the default directory 
settings for the various TMW components. Apparently, TMW does not 
always save new inputs, especially if the default directories have 
been altered. Winfred is working on an update version to address 
known problems, so it should be fixed soon.
