| subject: | Max files open under OS/2 VDM |
In an OS/2 3.0 VDM, the addhndls.c snippets (which relocates the DOS file table using int 21h, ax = 67h) can open 44 files, with DOS_FILES set to 255 in the settings. The same program run from a Dos machine opens 243 files. Is there an architectural difference between the two environments that might cause this difference? Can it be worked around?
