We have been very busy here in the Probert household....
Last Saturday, Josh was at wrestling team practice and was "matched" 
with another child. The coach was aware of several factors: 1) Josh and 
this kid had a problem where the kid struck Josh in the head the day 
before, 2) the kid was heavier, taller and significantly more muscular 
than Josh, and 3) Josh had wrestled three practice matches where this 
kid had not done any.
We also know that the coach does not like Josh as Josh is not a "jock". 
In fact, one of the students told us, subsequently, that the coach told 
this kid to "kick his ass".
So, this kid pins Josh on his back. Then, places his chest over Josh's 
mouth and nose and Josh cannot breath. Due to the mis-match, Josh has no 
means to extracate himself, and, since the coach is busy elsewhere, Josh 
is forced to use his last weapon of survival: his teeth. He bit him.
Josh is now off the team and is suspended for five days. (We are dealing 
with this through and attorney, and we have filed criminal charges 
against the coach and the child). 
Since Josh started this school in September 1995, I have felt that the 
Principal is clueless vis-a-vis ADHD. She just proved it.
She wants to send a tutor to the house in the late afternoon and 
evening. Josh takes his meds in the AM, and still has a hard time going 
to sleep even with clonidine.
She just does not understand.
