Kris,
SM>> Just curious... more stable than what?

KS> On Fido Iwas always stuck with 28800, now I do have almost 31200;

You understand, of course, that what you're describing here is unlikely at
best, and in any case has nothing to do with what what com drivers you're
using... or with stability?
KS> Imho, the Sio never have match completely the move from Warp 3
KS> --> Warp 4.
Darn... I'm glad you added the qualifier to that!
SM>> Of course, you factored in the cost of the Quatech board?
KS> The files are free for download. A free 32 port version. Don't
KS> see much reason to pay for more for getting less.
Aha, them you don't use VMODEM, or PMLM, or...
I have the Quatech drivers here, have had for some time. I'd gladly pay Ray
again just so I didn't have to waste the time trying to make the Quatech
drivers FIND my 3 com ports! Over the years, the only change I've had to make
to the SIO lines in config.sys were those necessary to lock my modem port and
add a virtual port for VMODEM to use..
SM>> I own one, and altho it is very fine hardware, it is far from free!
KS> They give us a good reason to buy their hardware, don't they,
Well, yes they do. However, so has Ray Gwinn! I'm sure glad *I* did, else I
might have HAD TO use the Quatech drivers!
