It sounds just like the sort of solution that he needs, but cable will never enter his home. Thanks for the comment on ZoneAlarm. I may have to rethink. I installed zonealarm for a friend who wants to know no more than were the on/off switch is (it's been tough training to shutdown) and it worked great. He does only IE. I have no personal experience with ZA so don't know (got ijfw here and it is wonderful, except I can't get some audio stuff to work on my family's xp machines). Jon ------------------------ Yahoo!
