I can't believe this topic has gone on for this long.  I believe that
somebody said that Adam's death was a spiritual death.  When God said
that whomever ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil
would surely die on that day He did not say what kind of death it
would be did He?  


I believe that the Bible talks about a death that is simply a
separation from God.  Remember until that time Adam and Eve could
freely commune with God and after that time they could not.  Is that
not indeed a death?
