Romans 11:13
13 I am talking to you Gentiles. Inasmuch as I am the apostle to the 
Gentiles, I make much of my ministry

Paul was writing to the believers in Rome, they appear to be made up mostly 
of Gentiles, but that does not mean there were not Jewish believers among 
them.

What days were being esteemed more than others?
In the context of Jewish believers advocating the observance of feast days, 
it seems likely this is what he is talking about.
The Gentiles might have adopted these Jewish practics and begun keeping 
these days.

Nowhere in Romans does Paul say these days refer to the weekly Sabbath.
The readers knew which days Paul was refering to, so he did not need to 
state what they were.
To say this refers to the weekly Sabbath is reading more into the text than 
is stated, given the uncertain context.

Another issue mentioned here is food which some regarded as unclean. 
Possibly food sacrificed to idols?

But in other books such as Galatians, Ephesians, Colossians we get the 
picture of Jewish believers who thought they needed to keep parts of the 
ceremonial law in order to be saved.
